Welcome to Foreword!

Now that Foreword is finally available as a launching pad for the application and the fundraising is in a high gear, it feels like real progress has been made. I still believe we can get this project online before 2024.

In the last year I cannot describe all of the fits, starts, do-overs, brainstorms and erasures. I’ve thrown a few good ideas overboard, at least for now. I feel gratitude toward those with whom I have bounced ideas and explored various possibilities.

I am committed to making Foreword a success for writers, illustrators and editors. I’m making a place for manuscripts. A place for writers. A place to provide the tools any writer needs to improve their manuscript.

I also feel strongly about the impact of AI on writers. There will be inroads on some segments of the publishing industry, which is probably unstoppable. I also believe the future is not yet written. Write! We’ll be here to help you get your manuscript in its best shape.
